Neelam Bhatia

Neelam Bhatia, the founder of Velthrad, is a seasoned expert with over two decades of experience in private banking and wealth management in the Middle East. Her career began at Citibank, where she developed her expertise in financial services. Neelam held significant roles at EFG Bank, Sarasin Alpin, and Barclays Wealth, where she led front office support for the GCC region.

She was instrumental in establishing Arrow Capital, an External Asset Manager in the DIFC. Before founding Velthrad, Neelam played a critical role in setting up Nomura Singapore Limited's DIFC branch, guiding it from concept to full operations.

With deep knowledge of regulatory environments and hands-on experience with various regulatory bodies, Neelam has successfully navigated firms through complex regulatory challenges. Her vision for Velthrad is to deliver strategic expertise and reliable results, ensuring clients achieve their goals with confidence.

Strategic Advisor
Himanshu Vashishtha

With 30+ years in market research, Himanshu has guided global giants like Pepsi, GM, Unilever and regional leaders like Almarai and ADGM. Formerly Nielsen's Managing Director for MEA, his expertise in advanced analytics and behavioral economics drives strategic advantages. He also contributes to academia and leads ventures in digital marketing and AI.

At VelthRad, his insights in market research and consumer behavior are key to delivering cutting-edge strategies.

Zubin Muriya

Zubin Muriya is a seasoned Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) professional with over two decades of cross-jurisdictional experience in banking regulatory compliance, financial crime risk management, corporate governance framework, and audit advisory. His work across India and the GCC (UAE, Qatar, Bahrain) reflects a career rooted in regulatory rigor and operational integrity.

As the GRC Advisory Head at VelthRad Consultants, Zubin leads the firm's compliance, risk management, and internal controls advisory functions for DIFC and ADGM based financial entities. In addition to advisory support, he also provides outsourced Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and Risk Officer services to regulated firms. He brings extensive regulatory insight and hands-on expertise in managing approval processes, drafting robust compliance frameworks, and overseeing governance setups for newly established and growing financial institutions.

Zubin’s prior leadership roles include Executive Director - Compliance, AML & Risk at Julius Baer in Qatar and the UAE, where he was instrumental in establishing the Qatar entity and acted as an approved person with QFCRA. Earlier, he served as Director Compliance & AML at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, overseeing regional regulatory engagements in DIFC and QFC. His foundational years at Union National Bank and BMI Bank sharpened his skills in regulatory liaison, AML framework development, and operational controls.

A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Zubin also holds multiple international professional certifications including CAMS (USA), an ICA Postgraduate Diploma in GRC (UK) & Diploma in International Compliance, and a Sanctions Certification from ACAMS. He is an experienced compliance professional under the DFSA and QFCRA regimes. Additionally, he contributed to industry development as an examiner with the ICA-UK.

Nicole Shroff

Nicole is the managing partner of Ansh Legal in the UK and UAE, with over 25 years of legal experience across multiple jurisdictions. A graduate of the National Law School of India University, she co-founded Ansh Legal after serving as the Group General Counsel for Dunia Finance (now Deem Finance) in the UAE, where she led Compliance and other key functions. She leads Ansh Legal’s Corporate, Regulatory, and General practices and is highly regarded by her clients for her expertise and advisory skills.

At Velthrad Consultants, Nicole offers strategic legal insights, supporting clients in achieving their business objectives within the regulatory frameworks of ADGM and DIFC.

Venky Narasiah

Venky, with 30+ years in banking, specializes in transformation within Global Markets and Private Banking. Venky’s career includes significant positions at Citi Global Markets Risk Management and Private Banking Investments, and then in Deutsche Bank Asset & Wealth Management as the Regional COO, Head of Strategy and Business head. He is skilled in Investments, Treasury, ALM, Risk Management, Governance and Strategy, and has proven ability in managing start-up/turnaround scenarios. Venky holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and CFA and CPA certifications. He is also a Certified Mediator (SIMI - Level 4) and an ICF Certified Coach (ACC). At VelthRad, Venky drives high-impact transformation projects and and successfully navigating complex regulatory landscapes, including those of MAS, HKMA, ADGM and DIFC.

Puneet Miglani

Puneet brings over 20 years of experience in the systems solutions industry, with a significant focus on the Middle East. His expertise in IT infrastructure advisory and support, coupled with his strategic vision, has positioned him as a valuable partner for emerging businesses in the region.

He is the founder of Candor and has led teams in providing cutting-edge digital marketing and IT solutions, focusing on operational readiness and IT governance.

At Velthrad Puneet will lead IT security services including cyber security and infrastructure design setup for clients and will ensure that Velthrad delivers comprehensive and reliable services. His extensive experience and dedication provide Velthrad with the strategic insights and innovative solutions needed to thrive in the competitive technological landscape.

With 15+ years in business process management, Lean Six Sigma and organizational transformation, Suzanna excels in driving operational excellence. At VelthRad, she leads initiatives to streamline processes and foster continuous improvement, aligning operations with strategic goals.

Aditya Shroff

Aditya founded Ansh Legal after serving at top law firms like Amarchand Mangaldas, AZB & Partners, and Linklaters in Singapore and Dubai. His experience includes senior roles at ICICI Bank, where he was part of the senior management team and served on key committees. He is also an independent director at Arrow Capital (DIFC) Limited, regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority.
